Friday 9th - Sunday 11th May - Liberation Festival
Join islanders to celebrate the liberation from Occupying Forces
during World War II. A variety of activities and events are planned
including heritage trails and access to WWII bunkers not normally
open to the public. 'Liberation Day' falls on Friday 9th May when
there will be a commemorative service and islanders will celebrate
freedom, reconciliation and prosperity with an afternoon tea dance
and food fair.

Enjoy a concert in the east overlooking the sea as the sun rises

Friday 20th June - Solstice Celebration
Join Islanders on a procession to the sea and see the wicker man
burn on the beach as part of the solstice celebration.
Saturday 21st June - Itex Walk
Covering a total distance of 48.1 miles this annual event attracts
both local and visiting walkers, raising funds for Jersey charities.
Walkers can expect to complete the course in anything between
12 to 21 hours.

Bring a picnic and a bottle of champagne and enjoy an evening
concert al fresco at the magical Dolmen de Grantez as you watch
the sun set over St Ouen's Bay.
Saturday 5th - Sunday 6th July - Out of the
Blue Maritime Festival
Come along and enjoy a spectacular Maritime extravaganza around
St Helier harbour. Enjoy street theatre, an al fresco food fair
and sea shanties. Visiting Norman traders from nearby France will
also be selling Soup de Poisson, Crepes, Calvados and other 'fruits
of the sea'.

Saturday 12th - Sunday 13th July - West Show
This bi-annual country show takes place in the country Parish
of St Peter and features rural exhibits, traditional craft stalls,
demonstrations and food tastings associated with a traditional
country 'fayre' as well as introducing visitors to the island's
most famous residents - the beautiful Jersey Cow.
Sunday 20th July - Jersey Oyster Festival
With over 200 tonnes of oysters produced in Jersey each year,
they deserve their own festival to celebrate! Enjoy alfresco food
and entertainment to the backdrop of Jersey's spectacular east
coast.

of Flowers Carnival

Marathon
The marathon starts on the streets of St Helier and runs through
some of the Island's most scenic spots, taking in country lanes,
picturesque valleys and the beautiful coast of Jersey. In addition
to the main marathon, there is a relay race and fun run. A run
